We are pleased to announce the formation of Tetrabic India Private Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) promoted by First ESCO India Private Limited, to execute a groundbreaking waste-to-value project in collaboration with Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML)—a state-owned enterprise and India's largest Titanium processor.
This project marks a major milestone in sustainable industrial innovation. For decades, KMML has accumulated vast quantities of hazardous Titanium process sludge—over 600,000 tons of it—posing serious environmental and public health risks. In response to an order by the National Green Tribunal, KMML floated a global tender to remediate these toxic sludge ponds.
Tetrabic India won this tender by leveraging its proprietary, patent-pending technology for the recovery of high-value materials like Titanium Tetrachloride and Pig Iron from industrial sludge. This innovative process not only eliminates hazardous waste but transforms it into commercially valuable outputs—ushering in a new era of circular economy engineering and green metallurgy.
The project will be executed under a long-term DBFOO (Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate) model and is set to begin with a pilot plant in 2025, followed by a full-scale 200,000 tons/year facility.
We are currently inviting strategic investors and partners to join us in this transformative opportunity. Below is the embedded Investor Pitch Deck, which outlines the commercial, technological, and environmental impact of the Tetrabic India project in detail.
